Description
Ornate Roman panel in second use, which adorned the pastophoria of Basilica B. The sculptural decoration of the Basilica arouses interest for the wide variety of materials, but also for the re-use of Roman architectural elements (columns, capitals, panels). It is worth mentioning the case of the pulpit, which was located by country in the following form: between two built walls, lined with Roman panels and chests with embossed crosses, supported the trunk of a column which in turn supported a cylindrical pedestal of Hadrian from the Roman era with a relief representation amazon battle.
