Description

Deep, circular, open vessel with decorated inner wall (front) and undecorated bottom. Thirteen (13) transverse, equal-sized leaves divide the front around the perimeter. The leaves increase in width upwards and have a curved tip. The embossed decoration of the leaves is similar. They are rendered from bottom to top, spiraling shoots with whorled leaves (whorls), floral jewels and scalloped shapes at the top. The small bottom in relation to the rim, the depth of the plate and the successive "petals" of the wall give the vessel a flower shape.
