Description
On a crimson plain, two lions are depicted, with their forelegs holding between them a medallion with a vase bearing flowers. The lions were rendered in ochre, while the medal in blue. Below the medallion develops a simple rococo floral decorative pattern with spiral shoots. Above the composition with the two lions, a continuous decorative painted zone develops, which bears simple rococo motifs, as well as medallions depicting imaginary residential complexes and outdoor landscapes. In folk art, lions have a strong symbolic content with a deterrent meaning.
