Description
Rococo floral decoration grows inside a concave frame. The plain of the composition is light and cold, while the floral decoration has been attributed to the shades of ocher and deep red. The vertical sides of the frame are shaped into painted linear columns. The decoration is typical of the last twenty years of the 18th and the first of the following century. During this period, a particularly linear style takes shape, with patterns spread over a light-colored depth. The motifs and representations are framed by rectangular frames, often with a concave or pointed apex in foliate undulation. Predominant colors in the painting decoration are ocher and deep red.
