Mid 13th century A.D.

Description

The central representation of the rectangle is defined around the perimeter by a wide frame with a meandering solid creeper stem, ending alternately in quatrefoils and grapes. In contrast to the rest of the decoration, which has been carved with particular care, the decoration of the frame has been rendered with a relief technique and more artlessly. Its depth is unevenly worked, probably for the insertion of wax mastic.
