Description

In the main decorative zone, a yellow vase with flowers is placed on a column. The painter tried to render the third dimension, which is why the colonnade was rendered in perspective and with photo-shading. The lower decorative zone imitates orthomarbling. The decoration is typical of Neoclassicism, which characterizes the period 1880-early decades of the 20th century. The colors of the decorations of this period move in cold blue tones.
